Lisa Middelanis holds a master's degree from the TU Dortmund University for teaching social sciences and English. In addition, she holds a certificate in literary translation from the University of Iowa. She is currently a research assistant for digitally mediated teaching and learning, with a specialization in English at the Dortmund Competence Center for Teacher Education & Research (DoKoLL).
